AMD Kills ATI Brand
Image via WikipediaAMD is discontinuing the use of the ATI brand name in reference to its line of products. It has been speculated this move was motivated by AMD's move to fusion APU's which is a hybrid CPU/GPU chip. AMD bought ATI back in late 2006 for approximately $5.4 billion.
