VIP map pack 5 has been released for Battlefield Bad Company 2 on the PC.

The following maps have been unlocked:

• White Pass - Rush Mode
• Nelson Bay - Conquest Mode

ATi, Starcraft 2, Anti Aliasing, & You

No, it's not the title of a love song... though it very well could be depending upon your fondness for any number of those subjects mentioned in the title.

NVIDIA has actively been touting they are the only ones who provide AA in Blizzard's newly released Starcraft 2......that is about to change.

According to a tweet from CatalystMaker, AntiAliasing will soon be enabled for ATI users.

On vacation - but just got an email saying that Starcraft 2 AA is almost ready. Just getting tested now. Hotfix soon.

EDIT: Driver has been released. Download Catalyst 10.7a with AA enhancements for Starcraft 2.

Uncharted 2 - Cheap at Sams?

I picked up a copy of Uncharted 2 at lunch today. To my surprise the game was cheaper than I could find on Amazon, and even cheaper than the price sticker had indicated. The game was marked at $39.99 and rang up at $34.91! Even with tax (8.517% in OK) it was much cheaper than Amazon, which has the game listed for $54.99.

The following maps are now enabled on the PC:

Atacama Desert Rush Mode - A Russian Naval Group is preparing a massive amphibious assault. Defending the shore are 3 U.S fortifications and a string of artillery defenses. Deteriorating weather and sandstorms, U.S. Command has consolidated all available forces to meet the Russian threat.

Port Valdez Conquest Mode - Russian Forces are poised to attack the harbor in an attempt to seize the Trans Alaskan Pipeline. No fallback exists for either side, this engagement will decide the outcome of the war.
