The Witcher 2 PC Enhanced Edition Pre-Download Has Started
If I had to elect one developer as President of the Video Game Industry, I think my vote would be for CD Projekt RED, the dark horse that sprang from the shadows and has wooed PC gamers with its no-DRM policy, respect, and gratitude.
Pre-downloads for The Enhanced Edition update for the PC version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings have begun today. Most of the 10 GB update will be available for download at thewitcher.com, with the remaining megabytes unlocking on the 17th of April to allow gamers to begin playing immediately.
The Enhanced Edition features two additional major quests, a new intro and outro, many never seen before cut-scenes and many more improvements. The patch also contains all the previous DLCs and upgrades – including the arcade arena mode and an extensive tutorial system. In total, there are approximately 4 hours of new adventures, and 35 minutes of new cut-scenes and cinematics.
