Looking for a quick and handy way to toggle Aero on and off in Windows 7? Create a batch file out of the following and you're good to go. Executing this .bat will turn Aero on if it's off and off if it's on.
@echo off
sc interrogate uxsms | find "1062"
if %errorlevel%==0 goto :sc_start
sc stop uxsms
exit
:sc_start
sc start uxsms
exit
If you're feeling really fancy, you can bind the shortcut to a hot key!
